Being an independent field of cartographic science, the digital cartography belongs to its basic instrument, reflecting the modern state of the development level in processing technology of dimensional data. Cartographic products find the widespread use in many spheres of the human activity. At the same time the impressive experience of the Russian cartographers coupled with the achievements of foreign specialists, including the software developers, allows solving a wide range of practical tasks.

-    Data vector are in the following formats: SFX, SHP, MIF/MID, TAB, DXF/DWG, DGN, etc, and also as the personal bases of geodata;

 

-    Raster data are scanned production prints, ink manuscripts, diapositives of permanent storage (DPS) in the following formats: TIFF (GeoTIFF), PCX, IMG, RSW, JPEG, JPEG2000, etc.

 

Careful editorial quality control allows providing the correspondence of the created digital cartographic products to the adopted state or in-company standards.
